In your browser settings, clear cached images, files, and cookies for recent time ranges first. Restart the browser and try logging in again. This removes stale data that can block the extension’s auth flow.
Open your browser’s extensions page and click Update. Make sure Phantom is the latest version. Outdated builds can fail to authenticate or sync with the service.
Temporarily turn off ad blockers, privacy tools, or other wallet extensions. Relaunch the browser and test Phantom alone. If login works, re-enable add-ons one by one to find the conflict.
Open a private window and allow extensions to run there. Incognito mode reduces interference from cached data or profiles. Test Phantom login again in this clean environment.
Phantom works best on supported Chromium-based browsers and recent versions. If you’re on an unsupported browser, switch to a supported one and retry. Keeping your browser fully updated also helps.
Remove the extension, restart the browser, then install it again from the official store. Do not uninstall if you’re unsure you have your seed phrase safely stored offline. After reinstalling, unlock Phantom and confirm normal behavior.
If the wallet won’t unlock and you have your seed phrase, restore the wallet carefully. Enter the phrase in the official extension only—never share it with anyone. Create a strong new password and verify access to your accounts.
